The eco-construction sector includes all skills linked with energy efficiency, renewable energies and the use of healthy materials or material with low "total embodied energy"*.

*  total embodied energy means to consider in a product the energy required to manufacture it and the energy required to recycle or destroy the product when it is at the end of its life.
